Kevin J. Hoagland
Born in New Brunswick, September 23, 1959, Kevin J. Hoagland is the oldest of six children of John and Ellen Hoagland. He graduated from St. Peter’s High School in 1977, Middlesex County College in 1992 with an Associates Degree in Management and from Rider University in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science Degree In Commerce.
In 1992, Kevin Hoagland was elected to the office of Middlesex County Surrogate. He was re-elected in 1997, 2002 and 2007. He has served as the Section Chief the New Jersey Surrogate Organization and was a member of the Judiciary-Surrogate Liaison Committee.
Kevin Hoagland is the founder and president of the Central Jersey Spinal Cord Association. He is past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus #257 in New Brunswick and has served as Chairman of the Knights of Columbus Community Awards Night since 1987. Kevin has served on the New Brunswick Human Relations Commission and has been the chairman of New Brunswick’s Barrier Free Committee since 1989. In 1999, Kevin was elected to the Midway Beach Board of Directors.
Kevin Hoagland was the recipient of the North Brunswick Emerald Society’s Irishman of the Year in 1995, the Middlesex County AFL-CIO Hubert H. Humphrey Award in 1997 and the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick’s Irishman of the Year in 2000. Kevin also received the NJAC County Service Award in 1997 for his work in establishing satellite offices for the Middlesex County Surrogate’s Office. He was awarded the Gil C. Job award in 2007 by the Constitutional Officers Association of New Jersey. In 2010, Kevin had the honor of having an award given out by the Jim Bennet Foundation, named after him. He was the first recipient of the Kevin J. Hoagland Spirit Award.

Nancy Coppola is a life-long resident of the City of New Brunswick. She is a graduate of St. Peter’s High School and received her AAS in Nursing from Middlesex County College. Nancy also received a BS in Nursing from Jersey City State College and a Masters Degree in Community Health from New Jersey City University. Nancy has worked for the New Brunswick Board of Education as a school nurse for twenty-one years and currently serves as President of the NBEA. Nancy also works as a Nursing Supervisor at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. She also serves as Chairwoman of the New Brunswick Board of Adjustment.
Nancy has served as the Treasurer and Trustee of the Central Jersey Spinal Cord Association since 1987.
